Thirteen medievalists from the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, participated in an international conference held from June 19–23, 2023, in cooperation between Charles University and the University of Bergen as part of the Bilateral Initiatives project of the EEA and Norway Grants.
The conference focused on the use of modern technologies and digital tools in research work and the popularization of medieval cultural heritage. During the event, historians, philologists, and archaeologists engaged in digital humanities had the opportunity to share their research and experiences, inspiring one another.
The established collaboration with the University of Bergen will bring results particularly in the fields of corpus linguistics and the presentation of medieval cultural heritage.
