Mgr. Kristýna Luger lives in Vienna and is currently completing a PhD programme at the Institute for Historical Auxiliary Sciences, Masaryk University.
Her doctoral research is focused on charters and letters issued by Sigismund of Luxembourg to Silesian recipients with a special emphasis on the sovereign rule in Silesia during the Hussite period.
She also works as a researcher in the project „The History of the Liechtenstein Family in Medieval Moravia and Austria“ at the University of Vienna, Institut für Österreichische Geschichtsforschung.
Her other research interests include late medieval religious history in the Czech lands, with a focus on eastern Bohemia, late medieval political history of Central Europe, and imperial diplomacy.
