Vojtěch Večeře is a member of THEEND team. In this project, he focuses on theoretical and conceptual issues (such as the concept of inertia and its application to the research of medieval manuscripts, a methodological reflection of evaluation of collected data, etc.).
He is a specialist in scholastic preaching, church history, history of religious and theological thinking, late medieval diplomatics and social communication studies.
Since 2017, he has been working as a researcher and editor of medieval sources at the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences; since 2018, he has been a secretary of the Centre for Research on Ecclesiastical and Religious History (i.e. a Czech research centre associated with the international academical society CIHEC). In 2024, he obtained a PhD at the Institute of Greek and Latin Studies of the Faculty of Arts of Charles University.
