Hana Pátková is a full professor at the Institute of Auxiliary Historical Sciences and Archival Studies at the Faculty of Arts of Charles University. She focuses on the auxiliary historical sciences in the medieval period, especially mediaeval palaeography. She also deals with editions of historical sources.
She is the author and co-author of a number of studies and monographs, e.g. Script in town books in late medieval Bohemia, L´Harmattan, 2017, Scriptores, Scriptorium, 2017, with Marta Hradilová; Vocabularium parvum scripturae latinae, Bratislava 2008, with Juraj Šedivý.
She is a member of Comité international de paléographie latine.
